An high-altitude Lake admist the mighty Himalayas formed out pristine clear glacier waters..

Of course this lake is totally frozen during the super freezing cold winter months..

Recently I was fortunate enough to travel the Beautiful Andalucia, an area in Southern Spain. One of the main attractions that draw thousands of visitors, is Alhambra. This image was taken from what is arguably the best viewpoint to see Alhambra from (although, Granada is full of amazing viewpoints and it is worth exploring the others for different angles).

I was hoping for some clouds and a dramatic sunset. Although the sunset was gorgeous, unfortunately in all my time in Spain, I never saw a single cloud at sunrise or sunset. So it is what it is and i am really happy with it, clear skies or not. At the time i was taking this picture, there was at least 500 more people who came to see the sunset at Alhambra.

There is no nicer smell in the air than freshly cut pine trees.

Autumn in Melbourne is always beautiful, with many wonderful deciduous trees full of colour like this one in its glorious golden autumn livery one sunny early Autumn day in May.

Melbourne experienced a wonderful Indian summer this year, and as a result, not only were there still plenty of beautiful blooms about, but the Autumnal colours were brilliant.
