June 2, 2010 - The City of Burien begins cleanup activities at the former B/IAS site in preparations for the upcoming Wild Strawberry Festival.

The annual Riverkeeper Sweep cleanup, pictured here at the Fall Kill in downtown Poughkeepsie, New York on May 3rd, 2025, brings community members together to pick up trash next to waterways in the Hudson Valley. The Riverkeeper organization hosts these cleanups each May in multiple locations across the Midhudson, New York City and North New Jersey to protect New York's wildlife and river systems, this year being the 14th.
