Lubenice is an ancient fort city on the island of Cres, Croatia that was founded approximately four thousand years ago on top of a 380 m high ridge that overlooks the Adriatic Sea. Beach Sveti Ivan under the stunning village of Lubenice is reknowned as one of the top beaches in Croatia. As you get closer to entering the crystal clear blue waters of Lubenice beach, its tiny peabbles become finer and finer, til almost sand, fine enough to nurture your body, but just coarse enough not to stick to you and your towel. This beach is just perfect.
Lake Vrana (Croatian: Vransko jezero) in Dalmatia is the largest lake in Croatia. It is a designated nature park (park prirode), a kind of protected area in Croatia. It is located in Zadar County and Šibenik-Knin County, between the towns and municipalities of Benkovac, Pirovac, Pakoštane, Stankovci and Tisno.

On the World Environment Day 2017, UNESCO Regional Office for Eastern Africa, led the UNESCO programme specialist for Social and Human Sciences, Abdul Rahman Lamin, had the pleasure of releasing one turtle to its habitat, the ocean.
This was a very refreshing and emotional moment.

Zlarin (Italian: Slarino) is a small island of the Dalmatian coast of Croatia near the mainland city of Šibenik. Administratively, it is part of the Šibenik-Knin County. During wintertime, the island has a population of 284 people, but from March to October its population grows substantially up to 1,500 people. Zlarin has a large expatriate community.
