A little Crimson Rosella cleaning and preening. Testing Rob's DA*300/4. It's on lone and I forsee many tears when the time to hand it back comes around. Incredible bit of glass.
King Parrot (wiki)
Australian parrot. This is a male one and in my yard. There was a female one very close to him, too.
This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Clean Lines. Looks like it's a work in progress! HMMM!
Some days you just need to clean your equipment.
I actually don't clean mine at all.
My bad.
Happy Wednesday.
Looking Close ... on Friday theme: seeds
Thank you everone for your kind comments and favs. They are all greatly appreciated. Stay safe.
This is your yearly reminder that the brush cutter is at work along the NHN. He managed to reach the meadows today and completed the whole road side, and was working back up the east side before clearing up for D8. Nothing new is really opened up but at least it is cleaned up now. Caught D8 cruising south on my way home with 3825-1801-3823 and at least 30 loads.
The (almost) clean paw of Linus. He loves to dig in the dirt and as he doesn't do things by halves he uses all four paws. Sometimes you don't even recognize the original colour if his fur anymore but unlike Fynn Linus spends a lot of time grooming himself and usually doesn't need my help to get clean again.

A window cleaner in his suspended cart and the facade of the fab Naturalis Biodiversity Center (Neutelings Riedijk) building, shot from the trademark Neutelings Riedijk staircase.
About the museum: "Naturalis is a combined experience of seeing and doing. In the new galleries, you will learn everything about the earliest life on earth, about the Netherlands in the Ice Age and about the immense forces of our planet". Source: Naturalis.
Shot during a Naturalis exploration with Leun.
The soundtrack? Ofcourse Van The Man - Cleaning windows.
La fin de journée est arrivée, il est temps de nettoyer le chantier du moment... Au pas de la porte comme à la fenêtre, ça récure sec !

Four fresh SD70M-2s arrived in Saint John just two days ago to be added to the Irving fleet. One of four would end up leading NBSR 121-01 out of Saint John, that would later tie down once across the border in Bancroft. We picked the train up at Bancroft this morning with the clean 6411 leading the way, and ended up chasing all the way to Brownville Jct. Here, EMR 121 rolls across the Pleasant River within Cautionary Limits in preparation to yard the short train.
The clean pairing of 1437 and 1445 power uphill away from Cootamundra through Jindalee with the loaded Auscott Cotton train from Warren in Western NSW to Sydney as 8168.

An eastbound intermodal was hotfooting across the barren Iowa landscape behind a clean Chicago and North Western C44-9W and a Union Pacific SD40-2 in 1997.
In a few miles the hotshot will pause in Clinton for a new crew before continuing on to Chicago.
