After 12 days cruise travel, I safely came back to Sydney Harbour. In a sunset time, Sydney became gracefully pink.

I took this picture few days ago in a empty street of Kolkata on a early morning in winter. The lady sweeper was cleaning the street. The sun light and the splash of dust creates a superb ambiance here. To create a different perspective I clicked this picture in low angle.
These little flowers grew wild along the roadside areas in Pierrefonds, QC. I loved the lacey effect their greenery added to the overall shot. While the streets were very clean, there were still small grassy ditches in which wild flowers grew, as well as in the park areas.

I couldn't help noticing how clean Montreal areas where. Not many cigarette butts lying around, and this is one of the reasons. No gum on sidewalks either. These receptacles were in many areas, especially in park areas. This one was at the Community Centre on Gouin Blvd. in Pierrefonds.
This is what is needed in Vancouver, BC where everyone just throws their butts anywhere!

I suspect that there was coloured glass in the holes [in the artist's catalogue there is glass]
recently Galway City has lost its status as a ‘clean’ city in a survey of forty urban areas in Ireland. The survey found that the Millennium Children’s Park behind Galway Cathedral was “completely destroyed by graffiti on every available surface”.

Swakopmund is a coastal township in Namibia. This is a beautiful town where you find sand loving people and chilling breeze from the cold cold Atlantic ocean. The place is so well kept and the lighting decorations that you see is a part of the Christmas celebrations during December 2009. The decorations are very uniform across the whole town. Thank you so much for all the people who is behind keeping the place so clean.
