As I mentioned in an earlier post, Jennifer McGuire taught us to do colour blocking. Well, never one to do the usual, I did a panel in bright, bold colours for the express purpose of using BLACK ink on it, instead of the usual white ink and EP. I am thrilled with this card. I used a white card base, and rounded the top corners of the watercolour paper and card base. I then took Jet Black Archival Ink, and stamped the Large Lotus (Hero Arts) onto the watercolour paper. I adhered the watercolour paper to the card base, then made a banner for the sentiment (Hero Arts). I am SO doing more of this technique, as I really REALLY love this card.
Another set of cards. Again, I used all Hero Art stamps, Hero Arts Cerulean chalk ink, K7Company paper, and cream cardstock.

The card design was created inspired by a Pinterest photo I saw one day. To create this look I masked a stamped image with masking liquid, then added watercolor and inked the background around the map. Then added some water drops (which inked by distresses background always craves for lol) and added multi-colored sentiment).

The idea of the next card came to my head when I had made a card with a bird in Summer Card Camp 2. That moment I recalled Pixar bird cartoon and decided to make something similar one day. So this day came :)
The card itself is very simple. Masked and inked background+twine+bird with googly eyes.

Three-layers card. The first layer is a clear card base. I created Christmas trees design and cut it on my Silhouette. Added some PP inside of some trees. The second layer - dark blue card case with white stamping and embossing.

Colour blocking! I used Festive Berries, Worn Lipstick, and Pumice Stone Distress Inks. The sentiment is Penny Black. The heart is a leftover of a Cheery Lynn hearts within a heart die.
