Raquan Grooms and Raheem Watts celebrate with classmates after defeating “Bac” a mascot of the United States Department of Agriculture, Food Safety Inspection Service after cooking macaroni and cheese in the USDA Food Safety Inspection Service, Food Safety Discovery Zone. The Food Safety Discovery Zone visited Carmody Hills Elementary School in Capitol Heights, Maryland on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. “Clean, Separate, Cook and Chill” are the key words taught in The Food Safety Discovery Zone a mobile education center for the FSIS Food Safety Education Service that travels to schools and civic functions teaching safe food handling.
