How to clear the sky or
hide the "Classic Clouds"?
in the most (the LL-viewers too) the classic clouds could be switched of via the
'World'-menu at the point 'Sun' with the point 'Environment Editor'.
On that environment editor press Advanced Sky-button, hit the CLOUDS-tab and uncheck Draw Classic Clouds.
Older viewer needed sometimes a restart to hide the classic clouds.
why, but why switching them off?
well, some don't like them sooo much, even if they really could be a wonderful element in some situations. Other believe they eat some performance, so want them to be default switched off.
Foundation date various lets just say rebuilt 1285 and wharf 1377-1399.
