I record the Des Moines Symphony for Iowa Public Radio in sound room one story above the stage floor at the Des Moines Performing Art’s Civic Center. A typical setup involves six microphones going to a Mackie mixer where a live two track recording goes to a CD-R and a flash recorder while my laptop records each microphone to a multitrack program so a refined final mix can be produced later. Civic Center’s main sound person, Greg Tracy hooks me up with all of my infrastructure needs. 2/23/2013

A rather interesting cover, this...more so than the original Columbia issue featuring a photo of the young Ozawa. Surrealism works well for this music.
