Saving the world on a daily basis just doesn't pay the bills,so Superman(Clark Kent) had to moonlight at the Daily Planet as a reporter to make ends meet.Apparently the Tribune was a rival,I guess a city of 11 million could support more than one newspaper...
On the streets of Universal Studios in Orlando,FL.
It's not always about punching villains in the face, it's also about being there for someone that needs support.
"You're right when you say we all come out of high school thinking we're going to save the world. And sometimes we do. And sometimes-- sometimes we don't. So you don't think about saving the world, you think about saving just one person. Because sometimes that's enough. All I know is that we have to try. That's what life is. We try. We push back against the darkness just a little.
If you think there's a chance--no matter how small--that there might be just one more happy day out there-- Then take my hand."
If you're interested in the details, you'll have to view the original (4515 x 980)-sized image.
Simple shot and set-up.
Added a few effects but I really didn't wanna go overboard.
Post-Edit - Added rain texture, enhanced the Lens Flare and colour graded.

Attacked by the evil genius, Brainiac, Superman is forced to relive his childhood............
....Can the Justice League save him?????
Kinda inspired by what HOPE was doing a while ago with the MCU. Definetly want to do one for Tim Burton's Batman, and the Nolan trilogy.
What a movie.... Spectacular for the time, probably terrible today...? :P
Nah! I really love the Christopher Reeve's Superman movies, even if they're a load of Pre-Crisis bologna with reversing-time-memory-wiping-kiss-cellophane-symbol powers, and all that other kooky junk... but they're so great because of it too! :P
For me, Superman II was the first Superman film I had seen as a kid (just after the S:TAS movies of course), and at the time, I absolutely loved it! Looking back on them now I can certainly say that it's not quite worth their merit considering that Empire Strikes Back came out the same year, and looked significantly better :P
Now that may have to do with the back-to-back filming Richard Donner did, with Superman and Superman II but at any rate, the Superman films only seemed to decline in quality as they went along :P
Superman II is my still my favorite, with the Superman I being a close second, and I have some really fond memories watching them. So It's shocking that I haven't tried to do anything like this yet! The Gene Simmons HairMetal Batsuit is a perfect torso for the OG Zod and I know I'm not the first to use the idea so don't sue me! If you know who started it let me know in the comments (I just can't seem to find the first person to give credit to!)
But I'll wrap it up here! Not much to say about this other than it was fun trip down memory lane, re-watching the old films and recreating a 1970's New Yor- ...er I mean Metropolis :P
Also while doing a bit of research I stumbled upon awesome pusits Richard Donner MF's by Kaiju_Dan! They're really great and you should all go check them out! flic.kr/p/LiM8HV

I've been a little hesitant to post this one.
As I made the switch to a camera from this century, my HD still had images that had been taken on the old Konica Minolta. ...I'm pretty sure this was one of the last photoshoots with the Konica before I got the Nikon....
Anyway, I contemplated re-shooting this, but the more I look at it the more I like it. Perhaps the lower pixel quality contributes to a more nostalgic feeling? Or the poor color/contrast capture is a bit relevant to the message being said about the Red Son story? ...I don't know.... So whatever!
I'm gonna post what I wanna post and that's that! (You can read the details on Patreon anyway!)
PS. I got this Superman figure from Onlinesailin some months ago after winning the Comic Cover Contest he sponsored.
I'm keeping this brief.
Patreon has some stuff.
My Facebook is a thing now.
Yeah.

I told a few folks I was going to do this shot at the end of my 365. I was unable to locate the t-shirt till today. So being T-shirt Tuesday I figured what the hell. If your viewing this chances are you know where the idea came from. If not take a look.
Well a few people have been posting on flickr about the recent POTUS results with Superman in the forefront. I wanted to join in.
I've had all day to think about this and one thing that I've come to realize, is that we've gotta keep our heads up! I know myself personally, I'm heartbroken. Pessimism and Aggression have won. Lies and Greed have won. Oppression and Fear Mongering have won today and it's a damn shame.
The US chose the worst kind of person to become the most powerful man in the world and it's scary.
But see that only makes us the underdog now. We've gotta keep fighting! We've got to keep moving forward! Pushing for honesty and kindness before cynicism and hatred! We're all human, we're all still alive, and we can only do better from here!
Don't let it dampen your spirits! In the next coming weeks try your best to be positive and uplifting to those around you! Smile and laugh and love and care for as many people as you can! Because the amount of people hurting right now is only going to get bigger. Keep your friends and families close, and remind them that everything will be okay. That's what Superman would do.
We could use a Superman to give us hope. To right all the wrongs, bring justice to the people, and oppose monsters that want to control the world. But that would be too easy. We've got to do it for ourselves!
Remember to keep kindness in your heart.
I'm gonna leave you guys with a monologue from The Great Dictator performed by Charlie Chaplin. Take a couple minutes out of your evening and just listen.
Breathe.
We'll get through this together.
“I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be an emperor. That’s not my business. I don’t want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone - if possible - Jew, Gentile - black man - white. We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other’s happiness - not by each other’s misery. We don’t want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone. And the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way.
Greed has poisoned men’s souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical. Our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost....
The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together. The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men - cries out for universal brotherhood - for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world - millions of despairing men, women, and little children - victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people.
To those who can hear me, I say - do not despair. The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed - the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. And so long as men die, liberty will never perish....
Soldiers! don’t give yourselves to brutes - men who despise you - enslave you - who regiment your lives - tell you what to do - what to think and what to feel! Who drill you - diet you - treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder. Don’t give yourselves to these unnatural men - machine men with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men! You have the love of humanity in your hearts! You don’t hate! Only the unloved hate - the unloved and the unnatural! Soldiers! Don’t fight for slavery! Fight for liberty!
In the 17th Chapter of St Luke it is written: “the Kingdom of God is within man” - not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you! You, the people have the power - the power to create machines. The power to create happiness! You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure.
Then - in the name of democracy - let us use that power - let us all unite. Let us fight for a new world - a decent world that will give men a chance to work - that will give youth a future and old age a security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power. But they lie! They do not fulfil that promise. They never will!
Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people! Now let us fight to fulfil that promise! Let us fight to free the world - to do away with national barriers - to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance. Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will lead to all men’s happiness. Soldiers! in the name of democracy, let us all unite!”
I'm preparing for a pirate story, which I plan to start shooting soon. Promo photos of some characters will be posted here))

I've had this figure for ages and just found him again, never knew what to do with him but always thought at least the head could be useful for something.
From his blue uniform to his flowing red cape to the "S" shield on his chest, Superman is one of the most immediately recognizable and beloved DC Super Heroes of all time. The Man of Steel is the ultimate symbol of truth, justice, and hope. He is the world's first Super Hero and a guiding light to all.
Ultimamente no tengo mucho tiempo para fotos así que las pocas que hago se las hago a Aitor. Aquí os dejo una muestra de su disfraz para los últimos carnavales.
