This quarantine crap has gotten so bad, I can't get out to shoot some new pics. I have had to resort to using my own camera at work to take pictures for procedures I am writing. But, at least I get to play around with some of the ones I don't use.

Japanese-style precision brass clamp.

This is a hose clamp that was given to me. Normally they are black but this yellow one made a good subject for Macro Mondays - Mirror. The clamp was standing on a mirror but I rotated the photo 90° clockwise to put photo in landscape orientation.

My Macro Monday offering for 'Contraption'. This is a very useful mini-clamp for miniature work. I find it extremely handy for holding single flower stems for macro work. It's completely adjustable in all sorts of directions and consists of a higher and a lower clamp - ingenius contraption !

I like these bottles with clamps on them.

Piping Technology and Products, Inc. custom designed eight sets of riser clamp assemblies for an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. These riser clamp assemblies were fabricated from API 2H GR. 50 carbon steel. They were designed to support vertical pipe lines on an offshore platform. Each set equipped with a neoprene lining consists of two clamps and a clamp stand. Several coats of marine paint finish were applied to the assemblies to prevent corrosion due to high salt water content and open air exposure.
