The stone cladding is finally finished

On starting to remove silly gloss paint we found another piece of the wood cladding that had been in the kitchen. It had been used to panel a perfectly fine door :S

... so visible in winter.

I wonder how often this wood needs to be replaced in between rotting. It's incredibly humid in Japan after all.
