This beautiful coaching stock is consisting of two BDmteeo double deckers and two BDsee. This is using from Monday to Friday on pair of trains Os 4801 Jihlava (4.41)- Brno hl.n. (7.10) and Os 4816 Brno hl.n. (15.39) - Jihlava (18.23) .
Special train for photographers on 760mm gauge railway Jindřichův Hradec-Obrataň. Locomotive T47 021 (705 021) was built in ČKD Prague in 1958.
A ČKD diesel in a Soviet-style livey in extreme rolling hills only brings one thing to my mind, the famous (railway-wise) surroundings of Рахів or Ворохта. Of course the picture was taken nowhere near that.
As most of the time, we find ourselves on the very climatic unelectrified routes of Northern Poland. The old coal mainline lies in the very middle of Szwajcaria Kaszubska (literally: "Kashubian Switzerland"), with some beautiful terrain, formed thousands of years ago by a glacier. Again, due to a weird bias, hills is not something I would associate with Northern Poland, as the elevation of the country gradually decreases as one goes from the South up North.
On the 18.12 another transport of long rails was to pass the old coal mainline (currently line no. 201 from Nowa Wieś Wielka to Gdynia), headed by the S200-273 in the old Soviet livery, together with SM42-2108.
Utilizing the fact, that there was no sun to be present on that day, I swiftly made my way to Żukowo, to the famous hillside spot near and old bridge on the river valley of Słupina (the construction was recently refurbished). With the Kashubian Switzerland in the background, I photographed the train from Chorzów Stary, as it was nearing the penultimate station of its journey - Żukowo Wschodnie. In the background lie the settlements Borkowo and Glincz.
