Calm over Dublin City, its Friday evening, signs of autumn on the way as those long summer evenings are giving away to creeping darkness.

It's that #FridayFeeling

Hay-On-Wye is kn own as the 'Book Town', specialising in antique and rare editions the town is full of bookshops selling everything from ancient first editions to the latest novels. A great place to browse if you are in any way interested in reading - Also has an impressive castle right in the centre of town.

Night in the city of Manila and a beautiful tabby, very alert and in excellent condition, sitting on top of the park bins.

This stray has had his rabies jabs and neutering, you can tell as the tip of his left ear is missing, done to easily identify which strays have already been seen by the volunteers and means they should be safe to pet.

With his high position on the bins giving him a great view across the park and total lack of fear it reminded me of the old cartoon "Top Cat".

Right in the middle of the city, surrounded by skyscraper office blocks this metropolitan survivor is a true urban king! (In his park..)

Nice group shot of this purrrfect stray family - Mum and Dad have clearly had their ears clipped and so are inoculated and neutered, presumably after they had the litter (!) you can just see the shaved fur on the top of Mum`s body (tortoiseshell foreground) meaning this has been done very recently.

On my way to back to the hotel very late one night whilst in Tokyo last week I spotted an interesting side street and took a detour.

This scene appeared before me and I was so happy to get the shot.

A very unusual looking bicycle, spotted late one night on the outskirts of Tokyo.

Two street cats shelter under a bench during a heavy downpour.

Good condition stray in Taguig, Philippines. Clipped ear means she has received inoculations and been spayed. Volunteers provide food and water so they have a good life and receive plenty of (positive) attention from the public.
