A lot of my architectural jobs got cancelled or postponed with the current situation.

Fortunately some of my previous clients were lying in wait for a hole in my schedule .

I love tool making ...but that was only supposed to be a component of my overall work .

This is a sample of the the verticals for an extension of a railing I made in 1997.

Started with one inch square bar forged into an octagonal taper.

I think every design were long tapers back then because I’d finally managed to buy a 25lbs power hammer. I try not to let the tools dictate, influence jobs since I realized. I still like this one though. FrontStepforge.com has all this sort of stuff in the galleries. .
