WIT--Had me looking for circles all week.................could not find an apealing one. Then just when I think "I have nothing" we had a birthday party and ............well the glasses, how could I have missed this. So this morning with party over and quiet time I worked on what I wanted. I originally wanted a different set of circles from a different glass, but this one jumped out more :) And I liked the second set of circles around some of the other circles.

JUDAEA, Sepphoris (Diocaesarea). Pseudo-autonomous issue. Time of Nero, AD 54-68. Æ (22mm, 7.14 g, 12h). Vespasian, procurator. Dated CY 14 (67/8 CE). Glebe Stone Circle lies a few miles north of Cong.
Nobody is quite sure what the purpose of these structures was. They are presumed as ceremonial and probably associated with death. Theories are free but evidence is lacking for all of them. That's history for you
