Philadelphia 2008 Cira Centre
I said that I would take a break.
Put the camera away.
I said that I would go to work even though I didn't feel well.
I saw an old piano that needed to be documented.
I got the camera.
I said I would be late.
I got on the train.
I said I couldn't breathe.
Go back home.
I said the weather is nice today.
I said ride your bike.
I said, but you can't breathe.
I said go while the sun is out.
I said don't take the camera.
I procrastinated.
I said now it looks like rain.
Don't go.
The sun came out again.
I got on the bike with the camera.
I couldn't breathe.
I said keep riding and don't take pictures of that building again.
I didn't listen.
I feel better now.
The Cira Centre in downtown Philadelphia. Or, the sunset catcher. I wonder if the people inside know they've captured the sky. #180 on Explore November 29, 2007--thanks to you!

Cira Centre, Philadelphia, May 18, 2023
This is a view from the 17th floor of the Cira Centre in Philadelphia.
I've photographed the exterior of this beautiful building many times. In the right light, the exterior of the building has a phenomenally mirrored appearance.
In the bottom left of this picture you can see 30th Street Station.
This is a link to my exterior picture of this building.
And these links are other pictures I've taken of the Cira Centre:

"Design can be art. Design can be aesthetics. Design is so simple, that's why it is so complicated" ~ Paul Rand 1977
I thought of Ebrahim while walking across the South Street Bridge and seeing the Cira building swirling with pinwheels of color.
I must have taken well over a hundred images of Cira Centre and walked by it countless times during the course of the last couple of years, and I can definitely say that I've never seen light beams reflecting off it's roof like this. I hope that this image does it justice, because it was really amazing to behold in person.
First attempt at some double exposures purposefully, Not what I wanted but worth keeping.

My train was 50 minutes late last night, so I had time to take some shots around the 30th Street train station in Philadelphia.
