We parked in Covington KY and walked across the Roebling suspension bridge. The temperature was about 48 deg. and gusty winds (notice the whitecaps on the Ohio River), dark clouds and threatening rain. I'm glad it didn't rain - we would have probably gotten hypothermia before we could have returned to the car. April 3, 2006.

Sam the Bald Eagle, from the Cincinnati Zoo, flies from the boat house in center field to his trainer at the mound. Sam is a regular at GAPB and generally flies there about three times a year. During the National Anthem, Sam's trainer blows a whistle and Sam is released. He then flies gently toward his trainer and lands on his outstretched arm. June 10, 2010.
