After I have finished my surprisingly successful "hamburg facades" series, this photo gives a short break, before I will start my next series of photos I took in the harbour of Hamburg.

The Detective Carlton started to follow her, the slender and sensual figure of the widow did not go unnoticed wherever she went.
But that day she was not walking alone, another man accompanied her, who he would be and what the relationship was between them ... he wondered in her thoughts as he nervously lit a cigarette in the shadow of the corner of the square.

Square crop and colour re-edit of an old street shot captured in February 2014 on my first digital SLR, the Canon 400D. I started my street photography journey in May of 2013 so had not been shooting street for a full year at this point. It's really painful to have missed a year and a half of street photography thanks to the pandemic but seeing how far my journey had progressed offers a little warmth. Thank you all for your support through all of this!

I stopped just round the corner at the last stop before the terminus and grabbed a Marlboro Light and a shot of Stagecoach North West Alexander Dennis Dart 34682,

Not exactly sure where this came from but really have no use for it. It is shaped like a globe that pulls open from the top. It would have at one time contained cigarettes in each of the sleeves.

There are certainly far fewer 'analogue' smokers on the streets of Glasgow these days, replaced and augmented by vapers.
