Un endroit que m'a fait connaitre mon ti-nounours. J'ai eu un coup de coeur pour cet endroit.
Rivière Batiscan, Notre-Dame-de-Mautauban, MRC de Mékinac, Province de Québec.
La "chute du neuf" autrefois appelée la "chute du 5 piastres".
It was a beautiful morning here! This is "the Chute" an area on Skaneateles creek where they built a concrete "chute" to channel the very fast water here.
La chute, d'une hauteur de 83 mètres, est la plus haute de la province du Québec et dépasse de trente mètres les chutes du Niagara. La profondeur du bassin au pied de la chute est de dix-sept mètres(beaucoup moins large que les chutes du niagara), moins imposante surtout.
En hiver, totalement gelée, elle prend la forme d'un pain de sucre que l on escalade.
This capture will brings us a little closer to the Chute, and from this vantage point we can truly see how narrow the chute / gap is that the water flows through here. From this spot I was dangerously close to being in the flow, but I found the tiniest of spots to get stable and make the captures. Fun times! :) -H3
Without a doubt, Chute Falls has to be the most sensual waterfall I have ever photographed. She's such an elegant lady.... Just look at her flowing there in an impeccable, svelte statement of fashion.🍷🍷... My buddy Harmon said he could sit down in here for hours making photographs and I totally get it...
