Nino Vaccarella, der Schuldirektor aus Palermo war der Lokal-Held der Targa Florio, die er dreimal gewann: 1965 mit Bandini auf ferrari, 1971 mit Hezemans auf Alfa T33/3, 1975 mit Merzario auf Alfa.
Der heute 75jährige zählte zwischen 1962 und 1975 zu den besten Sportwagen-Piloten der Welt. Er siegte mit Jean Guichet 1964 auf Ferrari in Le Mans, und mit Scarfiotti in den 1000 km am Nürburgring.
Er gewann 1970 die 12 Stunden von Sebring mit Andretti / Giunti. In der Formel 1 trat er nur fünfmal an: 1961 in Monza auf Tomaso-Alfa, 1962 in Monaco auf Lotus, am Nürburgring auf Porsche (15.), in Monza auf Lotus-24 (9.). 1965 gab ihm Ferrari in Monza einen Werkswagen, auf Rang 12 liegend fiel er aus.

Jean Sage
Der 1940 geborene Franzose war zwischen 1977 und 1985 Sport-Direktor bei Renault. Das war jene abenteuerliche Epoche, in der Renault zum Turbo-Pionier der Formel 1 wurde.
Begonnen hat alles 1959, als bei der Mont-Blanc Rallye ein Copilot "voller Todesangst" davon rannte, worauf Jean seinen Platz einnahm, obwohl er keine Lizenz besaß.
Von 1959 bis 1961 arbeitete er als Journalist, 1962 startete er seine Rennfahrer-Karriere, 1965 und 1966 war er auch als Profi-Pilot bei Rallys unterwegs.
Mit Larrousse hatte er in der Korsika-Rallye 1966 einen schweren Unfall, der ihm einen Halswirkelbruch bescherte: "Daher meine gebeugte Haltung."
Heute ist er als Renn-Historiker und Chef der Technischen Abnahme bei internationalen Oldtimer-Rennen gefragt, wenn er nicht gerade selber ein Juwel aus seinem Rennstall anheizt. Zur Ennstal-Classic kam er auf Achse mit seiner Ferrari SWB Berlinetta.

I created a set of images revolving around the perfume Wish by Chopard in order to be used in a very specific review/giveaway post as a fashion and beauty blogger but somehow i am growing little by little in love with this photos, perhaps the whole session i did in some twenty minutes, in a sunny day, out in my pretty tiny balcony, wearing my favourite less dress and my beloved red lipsticks. Somehow i started imagining this images pulled together, worked in twos and being a part of some sort of editorial, although most people that saw them already commented how much they look like an actual advertise shoot, and that makes me extremely happy, because for once i have not been able to create much through the past months, i have been doing solemnly what is required to do as my work as a part-time photographer, and second is that this is just the type of thing that i love to do, fashion like images, still dreamy, mysterious but with enough content that could be shown in any kind of fashion magazine (i am aiming for Vogue, when i "grow" up that is), so i am very happy and satisfied with the outcome of this one, and knowing that these were not the only two images i may bring some more sets like this one through the next few days.

2008 ENNSTAL-CLASSIC Chopard GP - Lotus 69F2/4 - Joe Willenpart

1970 gründete Jochen Rindt sein eigenes Formel 2-Team, das von Bernie Ecclestone gemanagt wurde. Eingesetzt wurden Lotus 69 vom Werk. Der 1.6 Liter Cosworth FVA-Vierzylinder leistete 236 PS bei 8.800 U/min.
Jochen Rindt gewann vier Rennen: Thruxton, Pau, Nürburgring und Zolder.
Der Ex-Rindt F2 gehörte Joe Willenpart aus Scheibbs (A), der eine einzigartige Kollektion von einsatzbereiten Jochen Rindt - Rennautos samt dem Original-Lotus Formel 1-Transporter besaß.
