Decided to try and get to grips with photoshop elements and a rare try at layers. Probably 90% of my work is done with lightroom.
Chiswick Bridge at sunset on last Saturday. I was surprised by how far I could venture from the riverbank with the tide out. I was practically in the middle of the river channel.
Taken from the Mortlake side of the Thames.
Sunset over the Conservatory in Chiswick House & Gardens built way back in 1820. I really like the wispy clouds combined with the sunset colours, if you look long enough it almost looks like a Phoenix! Unfortunately not everything goes right and I find myself discarding photos due to small errors, the movement in the foliage, due to the wind, caused it to blur and almost rendered this shot unusable but after showing it to a couple of people they didn't even notice.
I also got locked in the park taking this shot and had to scale quite a high wall to get out so this shot is definitely being used! :)

Route 190's via point, which normally is served by itself. Because of the closure of Hammersmith Bridge, route 533 being reintroduced also serves here.
Nice little pub in Chiswick. Cheap beer (by Australian standards), good pub food and great atmosphere

it is surprisingly easy to walk past an elephant without noticing it. Especially for those of us that have a tendency to look for much smaller wild life.

Upon Reflection - Chiswick Park Underground Station, London, UK
Out of London on the way to Windsor down the A4 in Chiswick. This is the route the Queen took many, many times during her life.
The house of Chiswick's most famous resident is in the background - the satirical painter William Hogarth (1697–1764).

Chiswick House is a nearby stately home in west London once owned by the 3rd Earl of Burlington in the 18th century (1726-9). It was built featuring a neo-Palladian domed villa as its main feature. It occupies the grounds of a large landscape gardens inspired by Italian Renaissance gardens and classical architecture. Chiswick House is believed by some to have been built as a Masonic lodge or temple, the main villa was solely intended to display the Earl's art collection and as there are no bedrooms. A Georgian extension wing was later added by the Duke of Devonshire's family with accommodation quarters in 1788.
The Mosaic House is the home of Carrie Reichardt, which can be found in Chiswick, London. This epic undertaking started on the back wall in honour of Luis Ramirez, with a final push in 2017 to complete the house. It features some of the world’s best mosaic artists and was made possible by many people, over many years, with each section telling a story.
