A Happy Macro Monday, Everyone!

Chips from an old cell phone

Hello everyone, I'm afraid it's not good news, Chip will be staying in overnight tonight and we can collect him in the morning.

He does have cancer and it has spread to his liver, The vets have told us we could have 3 months max but most probably it will be 6 weeks. We will make the right decision when the time is right.

He can't do beaches etc until after Christmas, nearer to New Year but when he can rest assured he will be. We've tried to give him the best life we possibly could and will continue to do so until we no longer can. He will be getting more treats, Chicken and his favourite, sausages cooked for him daily.

As you can imagine we are very upset and I don't really know what else to say. We would like to thank all the staff at Williams Veterinary Surgeons both in Cemmaes road and Tywyn, especially Amy who was happy for me to crumple in front of her today and showed me great kindness, thanks guys for doing everything you could.

... one of these chips just isn't the same. HMM!

Of course, most everyone in the neighborhood thought Roy was an insufferable old cuss, who loved nothing better than siccing his one-eyed Vizsla, "Beauregard", on to any unsuspecting children who might venture too close to Roy's property line.

As a result, Roy was always generously rewarded with soaped window screens each and every Halloween night; and sometimes, even a gloriously-flaming bag of poo at his front door.

When we bought our house in 2011 we had 2 chipmunks on the property. We named them Chip N Dale. They still live on our property and I love these little guys! It's strange watching a wild animal start to turn grey as they age! I noticed that Chip has a damaged right paw, all his fingers are missing. No luck trying to catch him to try to help so we left it up to nature.

He's got a chip on his shoulder!

When I decided to keep these two McDonald characters from Corentin's toys for my Happy Hippy bag I wasn't sure if I'd ever use them.

I found a use for them both for this weeks Macro Mondays Group!

I stuck the chip to the bigger one with some Blu Tac which you can still see, but trying to clone it out did no justice to the photo so I left it as it was.

Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)

A chisel striking a chip of a stone chip, my Macro Mondays creation for the theme "Chip" The stone is a typical small garden pebble about 1/2" in size.

Taken today guys, he's been up and down today, lots of cuddles, so hard to lose a dog slowly this way but he's not in pain and is still alert and enjoying things albeit at a slow pace. We'll let him go when the time arrives.

A chip out of one of my favourite Denby bowls. Dropped a wine glass on it. Having too much fun I guess.

Happy Macro Monday everyone. Looking forward to everyone's submissions and to see how many different chip(s) we get.

Chloe's Eatery near Cleves, Ohio is a delightful place. I had the Smoked Pulled Pork with Carolina Mustard BBQ Sauce, Southern Slaw, Pickled Pig Dill Pickle and sweet potato chips....Yum

This is one of the five Kits and we call it Chip (Chip off of the old block) because he follows and copies it's dad everywhere. They have gotten so big over the past few weeks. My backyard.

I knew I should have bought my chocolate chip walnut cookie this morning while I was at the Bread Garden (buying my morning pastry and a detour to Peet's). I'm always craving for cookies (and not just any cookie) so I went to the corner cafe near my work . . . they bake their cookies every morning. Since they only make a small batch, they usually run out by 3:00 p.m. . . . which is the time I take my break to eat "unhealthy" goodies. :-) I went during lunch to buy two of their chocolate chip macaroon cookies. Believe it or not, I only had one and gave the other to my co-worker.
