Every fall, before the snow comes, we cover our garden beds with wood chips. Eventually the chips will break down into compost. We buy ours from Limb Walker, a local chipper/shredder company.
Thanks for the wonderful comments. My Coolpix P1000 is such a phenomenal camera. it can take macro shots and it can take close up shots of the moon. It amazes me!
I haven't been baking as much as I used to but once I saw the Flickr Friday theme for this week was #cookies, I got a big craving for some homemade chocolate chip cookies and found myself getting back into the kitchen and doing something that I really missed and enjoyed doing.

This stone tool was made at Butser Ancient Farm on a Lithics Course. It is not an ancient stone tool but made by a skilled craftsman.The chips on the flint make the sharp edge, which make it a very efficient tool.
