They really need to work on presentation and speed if they ever hope to make it as a restaurant. Pretty much everything that comes out of the kitchen is a dreadful-looking goopy mess covered in some mustard-looking cheese (thank god this wasn't). I salute them for trying but in my mind it's not really worth the drive down. My advice for the chilidog: more TVP/fake meat, way less beans, and less topping in general.
My brother and I drove up to the Chicago suburbs where I dropped off my digital camera and lens for repair. On the way back we stopped off at Portillo's in Bolingbrook. Mainly known for their Chicago style hot dogs, this time I tried out the chili dog. It tasted much better than it looked.
The Berrien County Literacy Coaches threw a party for everyone in the county who works with Guided Reading to celebrate the best scores since the program began 7 years ago. We were served "World Famous Chili Dogs" from Thomasville, GA.
Back in March I was stuck in Cincinnati, displaced off a trip. I wandered over to the Peecox Bar and Grill for some dinner, and they had a live band playing - The Chili Dogs - a local Cincinnati cover band. They were pretty good! I asked if I could use my new toys for some shots, and got these pictures.

This went on for a bit today so thought it only fit to show everyone how they look when not sitting posing for me.
My friend told me to try out their chili. Ben's Chili Bowl is a landmark restaurant in Washington, D.C. It located at 1213 U Street, N.W. They are in the concession inside Nationals Park, home of the Washington Nationals.
