Voila! Served with basmati rice, with a stir fry of peppers, bean sprouts, and snow peas on the side.
2 large onions, sliced
2 huge spring onions, chopped
5 chicken thighs, skinned and boned, mixed with corn starch, salt, and white pepper
1tsp ground cumin and ground coriander
Finely chopped ginder and garlic
2 large green chilies, rough chop
if you're after a good chinese in the bayswater area (and you don't mind dodging a few pitbulls and rottweiliers and hoodies along the way), i can recommend this place. my family's been going here since the 60s and its still pretty good. there was a queue out of the door by the time we left.

Chili Chicken with Fried Rice

Caribbean Heat, close to home in Pickering, has become my go-to place for delicious Caribbean style Chinese food. They offer great flavours with generous portions and really good prices.
This time around, my friend and I had their Chili Chicken with Fried Rice, and Curry Beef. The chicken dish was from their lunch specials menu and included a pop for only CDN$11.95. The beef dish, including white rice, was from their regular menu at $15.95.
Everything was delicious and more than enough for the two of us. I ended up taking home half the food. Check them out at Brock Rd and Bayly!

I'm back at Caribbean Heat in Pickering for another of their delicious lunch specials. This time, it's their Chili Chicken with Fried Rice, a very generous serving of spicy deliciousness! As usual, it tasted great, with a hint of spicy heat, and was enough for two meals! Pretty good deal for only CDN$11.50, including a drink.

Onions have been browned, ginger and garlic fried, cumin and coriander mixed in. The chicken has just gone in.
Day 300 - Wifey decided to do some deep frying today, I m gonna say very successful, what you see here is some tasty chili chicken and some sweet and sour pork. Most tasty I will add, it appears wifey has increased her reportoir of chinese food with this meal. The chicken was extra spicy, burning my throat the whole way down.
Now I look forward to lunch tomorrow as wifey packed me a hearty portion, normally I do not suffer from heartburn or anything, so I should be good, but going back to back, we will see I guess.
Other than that, I just really suffered from a case of the mondays at work today, you know its one of those days, that right after the weekend, you just do not really feel like working... I am sure everyone experience this once in a while. Today was one of those days for me, fortuanately it seemed to go by really really fast, so it was good.
