Truth In Tears 3 | Terry Callier

youtu.be/dQSRa1aKIPw?si=x4dnwAS2Pz_qlgP0

I pity the boy who cannot become a man

Kin and friends look on in wonder

'Cause they just don't understand

I pity all the children

Who have seen the face of war

We must remember they're no longer children anymore

For all the joys and sorrows that follow through the years

O how many more days 'til the Son of Man appears

And will there ever be a time when we can put aside our fears

We'll have the Truth in smiles or we'll have the Truth in tears.

Giggle and the flames grow higher

Dance in a circle around a central fire

Making bricks is a common activity on the highlands of the Madagascar. The clay used to make the bricks is taken from the rice fields and this extraction contribute to the degradation of the soil of the rice fields. But also it is necessary to burn lot of firewood to fuel the kilns and this contribute enormously to the deforestation of the island.

porque ele tinha gostado dela e eu esqueci de postar e hoje é dia das crianças.

feliz dia das crianças. :D

I'm not sure about this photo whether I should really write something about it or just leave it that way? Everyone can make their own thoughts about it and what they feel. Only this: This image means a lot to me, it was a long time ago - back in the days of analog times with my old Canon F1 - and it is an important part of me and my whole life.

Life goes on and this picture helps me a lot to do this now, because children give me everything and they are the hope for tomorrow. They are full of joie de vivre, real and authentic. The time with them was the best of my life, but also the most intense.

Don't limit your child to what you've learned because they were born in a different time.

(From Hebrew.)

Three things have remained from Paradise: The stars of the night, the flowers of the day and the eyes of children.

(Dante Alighieri)

There are so many wonderful memories attached to this picture. I have a tear in my eyes...

They are playing all kinds of games in the snow, building castle, throwing friendly snow balls, skiing and slide boarding (if that is a name😂)

Bringing back memories for quite a lot of us ❄⛄💙⛄❄

What I really adore is that there were no smart telephones around 😄

I took this picture on last valentine day.

I salut for this children, They support each other.

Children's python (Antaresia childreni) from the Katherine region, was a lot more orange tinged than the ones I usually see in Darwin.

I usually try not to post two of the same type of animal in a row, but I haven't seen anything else too interesting lately unfortunately.

Taken for photo challenge 2009, day 89: children

It seems so lovely and simple topic for photochallenge - children... On the first glance, it' s so easy, children aren' t insects that I couldn' t find under the snow some week ago :-) But as the day went, as more I understood how crazy this task actually is in wintertime. My 12 year old son tells he is not a child anymore, plus, he doesn' t want to be a model for photos... All outdoor attraction parks are closed, in school I couldn' t get during working time, and what is left? Some families with children on the street that I would chase like a hunter hiding behind the corners and trying to jump out and cross their way into appropriate moment? ...

Feeling desperate I went to a toy store in hope to find some kid there... but instead I stepped into a scene where I found a wild owl under the roof next to toy store... so I got unique shots thanks to this challenge... just of a bird, not a child. The owl is posted on Flickr now. Needless to say, toy store did not grant me with any kids nicely playing around shelves.

So it' s quite late, and my last escape is the child I had been once myself... here it is. This photo is one of first colour photos in my family album, and it' s taken by my grandfather, photographer, who lived long and fulfilled life, 101 year...

I haven't been out looking for wildlife much recently, but this feisty individual is a nice start to 2022!

Oh I love this one. Taken during the filming of my video course with @expertphotogrpahy. In this course you can see all the details of how I chose the scene, prepared the kids, props and gear, set up the lights and took the photos. You will also learn how I edited them. I believe it's the best course I have ever done.
