I am starting a new set called, "My Favorite Things." This was my favorite childhood song! My mother sang this to me from a very early age!

Today wasn't a good day for me. I visited my Grandfather in hospital because he felt ill, so he went there. It was really sad to see my lovely Grandpa sitting on the hospital bed, he has looked pale and upset. I hope he will feel better soon, because I really miss him. On the photo is Hans Christian Andersen's book and this one I recived from my Grandpa for St. Nicolaus day. It's my childhood memory and it's very important for me. On the other hand, I'm very busy with school.
My dad used to work at a junkyard, and occasionally he would find interesting things in old cars and bring them to me. Once, it was this horse.
My grandparents had a collection of beautiful carved animals they got in Africa. I wasn't supposed to play with them, but I did, and one time, I broke one of the gazelle's horns off. My grandfather, rather than yell at me, let me keep it.
Both my father and grandfather are dead now, but I still have these.

It is a limited edition done in 1986-87 by artist Sandra Kuck and each plate is numbered with a certificate of authenticity for each plate.
