Es una limícola estilizada, de pequeño tamaño —el menor entre los andarríos— y patas bastante cortas, que balancea la cola y la cabeza de forma característica cuando está posada. Sus partes superiores son pardas y las inferiores, blancas, con un característico entrante pálido que sube desde los lados del pecho hasta el cuello, por delante del vértice del ala.

I hate collages, but in this point I will do an exception.

I was shooting with my Helios lens, with manual focus, and coming back to the house I saw Chico in the olive tree.

To get focus with this lens is not easy. Anyway I shooted.

When I checked the photos at home, I verified a very good sharpness in the photos and a very funny serie of Chico yawning.

I hope you enjoy with this collage picture :-)

Odio los collages pero en este caso hago una excepción.

Estaba haciendo fotos con mi Helios 44M 58mm, con enfoque manual, y volviendo a casa vi a Chico en el olivo del patio.

Enfocar con este objetivo no es nada fácil, pues además el adaptador que compré para avisar del enfoque automático no coincide exactamente con el foco.

De todas formas traté de hacerle alguna foto. Entonces Chico comenzó a bostezar y disparé una ráfaga.

Cuando vi las fotos en casa comprobé que toda la serie había salido muy bonita y perfectamente enfocada.

Para no aburrir publicando varias fotos parecidas hice este collage, que además ha quedado muy gracioso.

〠 It was too cute, I couldn’t help but press the shutter button. You can admire many interesting and colorful buildings dating from the late 18th century and the 19th century in the Centro Habana district. Many are worn by time and many are under renovation. But the fact remains that they are fascinating and a visit is a must ... on foot, of course !

〠 C’était trop mignon, je n’ai pu m’empêcher d’appuyer sur le déclencheur. On peut admirer de nombreux bâtiments intéressants et colorés datant de la fin du 18ème siècle et du 19ème siècle dans le quartier Centro Habana. Beaucoup sont usés par le temps et beaucoup sont en cours de rénovation. Mais le fait demeure qu'ils sont fascinants et une visite s’impose ... à pied, bien sûr !

〠 Fue demasiado lindo, no pude evitar presionar el botón del obturador. Se puede admirar muchos edificios interesantes y coloridos que datan de final del siglo XVIII y del siglo XIX en el distrito de Centro Habana. Muchos son usados por el tiempo y muchos están en renovación. Pero el hecho es que son fascinantes y una visita es un deber ... a pie, por supuesto !

Well done Chico

Fall is definitely closing in, but I got a shot of Chico in my annual Inpatients before they die off.

Silly boy.

This morning, while I was trying to catch Lola for going to the vet, I found Chico drenched.

Finally it was raining all night long here in Sa Ràpita, but Chico, who usually sleeps at home these last months, thought that it would be better to spend the night outdoors.
