Pip can do a few tricks now.

I paid for a Chihuahua and got a Chihuahua cross.

Not what I wanted but I love him too much to find him another home.

You can see the tattoo in his ear in the larger size.

That is proof he had been de-sexed.

I have been a bit sick, better now and am slowly getting around to everyone, I enjoy all the wonderful photos you have : ))

He's done with this project and handing over to the new rescue who no only looks like him but who had the same crappy start in life...

All snuggly in his green blankie.

Awful as the weather was for Yours Truly yesterday, this morning it was bright and wonderful. I could just take a nice constitutional before an efficient bus whisked me off to catch another to the other side of Uruguay.

There are worse walks than the one along the Arroyo del Potrero even though inroads are literally being cut to access plots for fashionable bungalows. For the time being, though, all is still very nice. One worries: for how long...??

I don't know how susceptible these Longlegged Flies are to the human nature of ever-development. Will they survive in these soon to be developed grounds. One hopes... but doubts...

Enjoying all the little things life offers, finally.

Close-up of Laguna Agate from Chihuahua, Mexico.

Backlit, sidelit, flash, I used them all at once to photograph this 1 1/2" slab of agate... I had to grind the slab, an end piece, down to a thickness of 1/8" in order for the light to shine through the entire piece. Well worth the time and effort!

I think I'm getting better at this!!!

The pups love their new backyard! And they're getting used to going back and forth from our home to the cabin, which makes everything so much easy.

This is an example of tube, pipe or stalactitic agate that was cut across the tubes revealing their beautiful and fascinating interiors. This specimen comes from Mexico, but tube agates can be found in countries around the world including Scotland.

The depth of the tubes in this 4" x 4" x 1/4" thick slab are revealed if viewed in Lightbox.

Note that the quartz areas are not blue and green. They are clear quartz. . It took me a few minutes to figure out where those colors came from..... NY1, a cable news channel which I was listening to as I photographed this piece, has background colors of royal blue and yellow which reflected through the quartz! Ya gotta love it! LOL!!

snow day little rocks on my porch getting the first bits of snow and dogs

I’ve posted photos of Zoe my Chihuahua recently, but I also have an older dog called Ninja. She is a mix of a Husky and Pointer, and almost 13 years old. Zoe is 10 months, so she tires Ninja out a lot. Hehe. They are best of friends, they play and cuddle all day long. Zoe is carefree, energic, and a bit sneaky. Ninja is calm, a little bit nervous and gentle. Different personalities, but as friends (or “sisters”) that doesn’t matter much. They truly love each other!

My chichuahua just had a pup on Sunday.

Una gran obra de arte, no puedes pasas desparcibido

My daughters lil chihuahua Millie. 9 month old and full of cheek. Such a gorgeous and well behaved wee thing. Love her to bits.

A kilometer is equal to 1,000 meters, or about 0.62 of a mile.

What's not to love???

Can you see me in his eye?

The second moctezuma agate I have polised (this one had a broken face and I ground that flat, rather than using the saw and reducing the size) from the agates I purchased from an old private collection in Odessa, Texas.

I made this photo of a car that had driven on the wrong side of the street to double park almost across from my home on Naples St in San Francisco. Upon closer inspection, you will also notice the driver is holding a Chihuahua on his lap. Nice going. Time for this fellow to take a safety driving course.
