Velocity stacks are also called intake trumpets, which gives you a bit better idea what they are. They’re little trumpet-shaped air intakes for your engine. The trumpet shape smooths the flow of air into the intake, allowing the most air possible to flow through the given volume of the intake. Put simply, more air means more power for an engine.

One of the most intriguing cars at the 2018 New York International Auto Show was the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Sebring Orange Convertible. This amazing $121,000 Vette represents a high water mark in Chevy’s iconic sports car history, technologically advanced and full of luxurious creature comforts by far the most overwhelmingly capable in both aspects. Under the hood 2019 Corvette ZR1 supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 that puts out 755 horsepower and 715 ft/lbs of torque to its rear tires that can carry the super car from 0-60 in 3 seconds with a top speed 212 mph.
The New York International Auto Show is the oldest auto show in the United Stated held every April at the Jacob Javitz Convention Center in Hell’s Kitchen since it opened.

I hated this pic for the longest, cuz, the strong reflections on the hood...whatever, it's a great Vette
I don't much care about cars these days ... seems like in another lifetime ...but I've had 3 or 4 Corvettes ... and while cars aren't my passion anymore ... I still do care about beautiful and style and design ... and this '53/'54 Corvette was the beginning of all that ...
You hear it before you see it.
A monster truck tire rumble mixed with a little hint of muscle car throaty side pipe V8 sound.
Then you see it, not really fully believing your eyes.
Luckily my cat like reflexes kicked in and I was able to grab a shot before it disappeared.
Whatever it was

At the Hotchkiss, Colorado Car Show this beauty brought back memories of what was "almost" back in my early years. I came real close to owning a Vette just like this one! I didn't make it happen and I've always regretted it ever since! Things happen for a reason.....
i sense a theme happening in today's car images. i like the graphic nature of some of these classic cars. this is a 1982 corvette - second rarest colour out there — silver green.

the legendary Chevy 327!!!!
Despite being down on inches to the 350, the 327 Chevy still lays claim to the most powerful production conventional small-block ever produced, the L84. Rated at 375 hp, the fuel-injected 327 was a high-winding screamer, as satisfying to drive as any big-block.
