This image was created from multiple exposures blended together in Photoshop CS6 layers using the "Lighten" blend mode. All exposures were taken with a single Paul C. Buff Einstein strobe with a 22" beauty dish attached to a Elinchrom boom arm and a 3-stop B&W ND filter attached to my lens. If you send me a FlickrMail message, I'll be more than happy to send you some information on mostly how I photograph this style and what equipment I use, along with some YouTube video links that help explain this process.

Spotted in a wooded area on a backroad near Seatonville,IL. I didn't stick around long-the area had an old trailer, falling down old buildings, and a lot of random junk.Along with a nearby barking dog,the whole place had a definite "Deliverance" vibe to it....

Be vigilant and have a great truck Thursday everyone!

A proud display put on the centennial McKean farm near Milledgville,IL. One of the ancestors ran a Mobil gas station in town besides running the farm, and both these old vehicles were in the family at some point. This small structure is the last one left on the farmstead, but it speaks volumes of the love of this family for the land...

Happy truck Thursday everyone!

Someone had fun modifying this old truck at one time, putting some of the biggest tires available on this old lift truck. Guessing that did a number on the transmission so this curiosity will probably continue to sit....

1930 Chevrolet AD Universal Series Model ½-Ton Open Truck

Originally Chevy aqua green, my friend's dad changed it to brown and remade the interior with brown leather seats and new wood bed.

An old Chevy decays as the world around it collapses on this abandoned northern Illinois farm.

Happy Truck Thursday everyone!

One of my favorite styles of classic vehicle 'restoration' is the "rust bucket" style with just enough rust, scuffs, blemishes, and flaws to make the car (or truck) more interesting. In this case, the addition of the name on the door (Rust Bucket Antiques) just makes it that much better! And, I would suspect even though I couldn't see under the hood, that the mechanical side of this truck is as solid as it was the day it rolled off the assembly line in 1956 (and probably even better in the horsepower department)! Just a great old Chevy pick-up done right!!

Taken in the Mojave Desert, California, USA.

Found this rusty beauty behind one of the buildings in Downtown Watertown, Tennessee...I have no idea about its history, ownership, function-ability, or why it has a 38 painted on the door. What I do know though, is that it makes a great photograph of a piece of automotive history regardless of how weathered, worn, or rusty it is!

the lot around a restoration shop in Bethany,MO. is nicely mowed...and full of these rusty beauties. There must be a hundred old trucks and cars there, many buried in the brush underneath trees.

These must be the "cream" of the crop....
