Every Friday I spool up like a top and just unwind like the toy itself and spin, spin, spin!

Cobalt Blue is my Home Club and from 7-8 pm SLT, the Sexiest Bosslady in SL - Idoru - let's me go WILD and story tell through my music, my vibe....

Myself...

I tell stories through the music - ones I hope all who hear it will understand and just...

Smile...

From 7-8pm SLT, I am ALL me, all DJ k8e, locked and loaded and when I am done?

Spent...

Relieved...

Happy...

My flow twists and twirls around through people, making rumps shake and muscles ache as people dance, dance, dance!

I Play...

I play and play all the weeks sadness away...the people there make it all worth it...they and the colours they bring to my stories...

They also let go and listen to the stories I tell...

Cobalt Blue is my home, my center...

I love seeing the colours of the love the people bring to just..dance..I love seeing all the wonderful colours...

“Life gives us brief moments with another...but sometimes in those brief moment we get memories that last a life time...”

She said she usually cried at least once each day not because she was sad, but because the world was so beautiful & life was so short.

Would you believe, a thick ice coating occurred in South Orlando, Florida on the 3rd of January. Some locals who had stopped their car to take in the beauty said they had never seen anything like it in 30 some years.

The energy that a new day brings can be intoxicating at places like this.

Not content with getting wringing wet swimming in the sea every day, Poppy also loves a good roll in the sand afterwards, so she can bring as much of the beach as possible back to the house! Here she's even sprinkling the sand all over her head! She loves the beach as much as I love her 😍

Just before moving out of Arkansas, we finally decided to take the plunge and visit the swamps that make the state's southeast famous. Unfortunately, we lived in the state's northeast corner, and getting to some of the Bayous made it a logistical challenge to cover within a day with a toddler. However, I heard great things about the cypress grove at Dale Bumpers National Wildlife Refuge and decided to head there for our first visit to a Bayou.

Fall was in full swing by then, so I had high hope for capturing some beautiful colors. But the trip turned out more challenging than we expected. The park was far away, and we only had a little time before the night set in. There were so many warning signs about water moccasins that I was terrified to venture outside the pavement. The park had an elevated wooden trail, but they were covered in leaves, and trust me, if a cottonmouth were there, it would be perfectly camouflaged.

Since my access was limited, I decided to try my 6x17 compositions, and here are some of the results. The first image of the series is of a beautiful bald cypress grove from the boardwalk. Managing the dynamic range was challenging for a regular 3x2 composition, but in this panoramic format, I could capture the most exciting parts in front. Also, since this is a wildlife refuge, some viewpoints are overgrown with plants making it difficult to get a clean composition without venturing out of the trails. I was scared to walk on the boardwalk so venturing out of the trail was not something I entertained. While slightly distracting, I think the twigs and branches in front add to the wild nature of this beautiful landscape.

Taken yesterday while it was still sunny. Now, its a rainy sunday here... how is the weather over there?

...even if the snow and windchill did penetrate my inadequate jacket and gloveless hands. The day hovered around -2 celsius with windchill gusts. Overcast and blustery until the sun began to set.

This is facing east over some of the back forty, and we feel fortunate when the setting sun paints the top of the trees and sky.

I had my monopod, but decided to plop on the ground and use the elbow tripod. Frozen fingers kept me from continuing to capture the increasing hues in the sky, both east and west.

Now that I've located winter gear and remembered to warm the camera, I hope to improve on a few east or west sunsets. Even sunrises, if I carry that vital caffeine with me. NOT a morning person.

Thanks for looking. I know my beginner efforts at landscapery leave too much in the middle and don’t anchor the whole setting, and that ideally I would use a 14-24mm lens I rented, so I think I’ll turn off comments. And now they’re back.
