est un chêne creux de plus de 1000 ans qui mesure 9.65m de circonférence pour 20m de haut.
Origines du nom
Il vient de l’Abbé Guillotin, né en 1750 à Concoret. Il est dit dans ses mémoires qu’il était un prêtre réfractaire. Poursuivi à l’époque par des révolutionnaires, il se serait réfugié au creux de cet arbre afin de s’y cacher. Lorsque les soldats sont passés près du chêne, le trou était camouflé par une belle toile d’araignée intacte, laissant penser qu’il n’y avait personne à l’intérieur. Et pourtant, l’Abbé Guillotin s’y trouvait....
We were strolling on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv, making pictures, as we always do when we walk together, my husband and I.
This young man was sitting on a bench behind me. He saw me making a snapshot (see previous picture) and asked whether I took a picture of the woman.
I said that I took the whole situation and showed him the photo. He was impressed, and when I asked if he'd like to participate in my photo project, he said: "Definitely!"
That's how I got to meet Chen.
He was fun to talk to and didn't mind to pose while I asked some questions.
At the moment, Chen, 22 y/o, who is originally from Tel Aviv, works as a waiter in Eilat where he lives.
We talked mainly about about emotions, and love.
When I asked if he had a message to share he laughed and said: "Only Love !"
He wrote down his email address in my notebook and when I made the photo I sent him a copy.
Whether in Tel Aviv or Eilat, I hope you are well, Chen, and I wish you all the best.

Biographie :
Peintre et illustrateur, Chen Jiang Hong a été formé aux Beaux-Arts de Pékin. Il vit et travaille à Paris depuis 1987.
Son œuvre est exposée en France et à l'étranger. Pour certaines de ses illustrations, il utilise une technique traditionnelle à l'encre de Chine, sur papier de riz. Il en résulte de somptueux albums d'un grand raffinement, aux teintes subtiles, une véritable invitation au voyage ou à la rêverie, tout simplement.
Il a illustré plusieurs recueils de contes traditionnels de différents pays et publiés de nombreux albums pour la jeunesse, notamment "Mao et Moi" (2008) dans lequel il évoque, avec beaucoup de sobriété et d'émotion, sa jeunesse en Chine, durant la révolution culturelle.

I had just stepped off the dyke at Boundary Bay and was studying a flock of nearby Shorebirds when I caught some motion to my right. 4 Snow Geese landed near me in complete silence. No calls when flying or on the ground. Upon noticing me, they skedaddled out to the flock of Shorbirds and joined them. FOY.
