I've been quite busy with non-photo stuff the past few weeks (school, wisdom teeth etc) but I will resume posting a lot of new images starting this week, with bangers from Gran Canaria, Crete, France and Tuscany. Mountain season is also starting, and I hope the weather will be good to us this year ! Here's a picture from Fanal Forest, where old twisted trees frame a small one cheering up for something.

And I planned a very early-morning shoot today and it's already 12:30 AM. Have to rise at 4 AM at the least, driving to the Northern part of the province Groningen, the Netherlands and pick up my mother when I'm finished. She really wants to be with the kids for a couple of days :).

This is from the Ottawa County Fair Monster Truck show. I played around a bit with this to make it look a little cartoonish. I just love the different expressions on the faces and wonder what is going through their minds at this very moment.

For numerous years I've participated in the annual walk to end Alzheimer's. The walk is so well organized with kids from local high schools cheering us along the way and a variety of strategically placed musicians too. For those interested, I wrote a short story about my relationship with my Dad in his final years with the disease that was published in a literary journal. My son and I went to an event called "Urban Coffee Week" at Marvell City, Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. On that valuable time, I trained my son's eye to "see" some beautiful moments then capture them. This photo is one of the best photos when we're in that event. I really like this photo!
