Pretty much every morning, I catch up on what's happened while I was sleeping on email and facebook while having my cereal for brekky!
This fancy soda fountain at 7-Eleven lets you mix flavors into your soda. If you add Cherry to Mountain Dew, it tastes like Code Red, except better!
Please note: Pouring actual Code Red and adding the lemon flavor does NOT make regular Dew.
All set for tomorrow. I'm having a bit of a flashback. A year ago today I was actually landing in Maine. My Dad had some health problems and I used my air miles for an award ticket to go visit him in the hospital and look after the house and whatnot. It was only a year ago. It feels like ten.
So much has happened since. I ended up visiting Maine three times last year and my Dad's doing great now. So this visit comes without that type of worry hanging over it.
Actually, now that I think about it - this is actually the third year in a row where I've visited my folks in Maine during the month of March. I guess it's routine now.
Anyway... just a lot to think about and reflect on today as I get ready for my travel tomorrow, my 2nd trip of the year.
I've knocked off Atlanta.
I'm about to cross off Boston.
You know what that means! I'm starting to eye my "C" choices for April.
Chattanooga is still at the top. Chicago is still the easiest / most affordable. Cincinnati would be great. And lately I've been checking out Charleston, SC and Charlotte, NC.
I have SO many options for "C". It's kind of fun!
