GREEN GRAM CHAPATI
Ingredients:
3 cups of wheat flour (500g)
1 cup of cooked/ mashed green grams
Sufficient warm/cold water
A pinch of salt
Sufficient cooking oil
Yield 10 portions
Procedure:
1.Sift the flour and salt.
2.Mix in the green grams.
3.Add water gradually and knead to a stiff dough.
4.Add melted fat/oil and knead.
5.Allow the dough to rest for 30 minutes.
6.Divide into 10 equal portions.
7.Roll out and apply oil.
8.Roll out into cylindrical shape.
9.Roll out into cycles and fry on both sides to golden brown.
10.Serve with vegetables, stew or beverages.
