This technology will be used to assist with the regulation of temperature in CEREB. Due to the lightweight structure of the building, it may overheat during the day. Phase Change materials (PCM) are capable of storing a large amount of heat while staying at a relatively constant temperature; this effect can be used to offset heat gains into the space and moderate temperature swings.

Taken during a trip to a local bubble tea joint that is a favorite among my group of friends! The register-counter was lit up by these concealed lights that changed colors every few seconds... It was hypnotizing haha. Rapid-fire shot a bunch and sort of mushed them all together to get this effect!

South Fork Bishop Creek. It is intriguing that in a grove of aspens all of the trees are all interconnected but only an isolated part of this grove is changing color. Why doesn't the entire grove change at once?

Me and my colleagues discovered that the nearby conbini is changing from Shinsengumi to Lawson. I liked Shinsengumi cause it was fresh and cheap and employing Chinese, but Lawson has the ticket machine so I can walk down the road on the 10th of any month to get tickets for the Ghibli Museum... so don't really know what is better...

Oh yeah

Mm

Still dont know what I was waiting for

And my time was running wild

A million dead-end streets and

Every time I thought Id got it made

It seemed the taste was not so sweet

So I turned myself to face me

But Ive never caught a glimpse

Of how the others must see the faker

Im much too fast to take that test

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

(turn and face the strain)

Ch-ch-changes

Dont want to be a richer man

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

(turn and face the strain)

Ch-ch-changes

Just gonna have to be a different man

Time may change me

But I cant trace time

I watch the ripples change their size

But never leave the stream

Of warm impermanence

So the days float through my eyes

But stil the days seem the same

And these children that you spit on

As they try to change their worlds

Are immune to your consultations

Theyre quite aware of what theyre going through

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

(turn and face the strain)

Ch-ch-changes

Dont tell them to grow up and out of it

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

(turn and face the strain)

Ch-ch-changes

Wheres your shame

Youve left us up to our necks in it

Time may change me

But you cant trace time

Strange fascination, fascinating me

Ah changes are taking the pace Im going through

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

(turn and face the strain)

Ch-ch-changes

Oh, look out you rock n rollers

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

(turn and face the strain)

Ch-ch-changes

Pretty soon now youre gonna get a little older

Time may change me

But I cant trace time

I said that time may change me

But I cant trace time

July 2015 CreativeMornings/Raleigh event (global theme: Collaborate) with guest speakers Danny Rosin and Matt "Moose" Strickland of Band Together.

Band Together has an amazing story. A vision begun 14 years ago, Band Together was imagined as a response to the tragedies of September 11, 2001. More than a decade later, and thanks to the tireless efforts of thousands of volunteers, generous corporate and individual sponsors, dedicated board members and the generosity of our community, Band Together has risen to be a powerful partner to nonprofits in the Triangle Area.

Band Together has raised more than $5.5 million to benefit the Triangle community since its 2001 inception, helped change lives and had fun along the way. We are the Mullet. Business (and social good) in the front, party in the back.

Special thanks to our host CAM Raleigh and sponsors CompostNow, Myriad Media, Counter Culture Coffee, who generously provided us with complimentary coffee, and lucettegrace, who provided the tasty breakfast snacks.

The changing faces of the Louvre, Paris. I really wanted to visit the Lourve but it was our last night in Paris before we got there.

We had bumped into a couple of English girls that morning that said there was a two hour line so they had skipped going in. When we got there we thought it was closing but it was open until 9:30pm. Nice! There was no line so no wait! We spent about four hours inside. These pictures were taken either side of that journey.

The two images were taken five hours apart. Both consist of three images stitched together in Hugin.

Greetings,

A group of youths, several climate change officers, nearby communities and some

very naughty but active children came together on 9/10/10 (10/10/10 is a holy

day for most Solomon Islanders) to do a little cleaning up of the Mataniko River

bank. We rid the site of garbage and we also plan to sow flowers purely inorder

to beautify the area. In addition, given that the area is quite vast and will

require much effort, a later date is set to launch a huge clean-up action

activity there.

The attached pictures illustrate the small but energetic and lively individuals.

Please keep in mind that unfortunately most Solomon Islanders are camera shy,

so including everybody in the pictures was quite a challenge...:))

Cheers!
