MARIA.B. Lawn 2013 - Bigger and more Luxurious
So here we are, our 8th year of lawn - we're stronger, better, more luxurious and set to take the MARIA.B. Lawn brand to new heights in 2013. From prints inspired by as diverse a palette as Van Gogh, The Mughal Era, The Orient and funky Soho Chic, we have tried to perfect the art of delivering perfect summer vibrancy through lawn.
Quintessential MARIA.B. colours, used as masterfully as ever, will delight our customers as always. With the widest array of bold, funky colours to rich, earthy hues to soft delicate pastels, MARIA.B Lawn 2013 has it all.
While the last few years have seen lawn brands come and go we have stayed focused on what our customers love, trendy designs and quality fabrics, this has ensured that we haven’t meandered along the one-hit wonder path. In 2013 my aim was to bring the ‘Style back into Lawn’ – after a year when lawn had been turned into “shaadi kajora” by most other brands.
This year we have partnered with Reshmatex – one of the largest textile conglomerates in the country to take the quality of our lawn and dupattas to a new level. As a result our cloth will feel lighter and
breezier as it has been custom ordered with the finest cotton and aspecial weave. For the first time we have also introduced chiffon dupattas for a more luxurious feel. We have also kept in mind thoseclients who prefer lawn dupattas and this year 2 of our designs are carrying gorgeous, elegant lawn dupattas. Add to that 13-designs instead of our usual 10, satin borders and embroideries in all designs – you will see the Luxury element in the whole collection.
Being the first Lawn brand to provide high quality, reasonably priced stitched ready to wear lawn for all those women with busy schedules, we are proud to carry on the pioneering tradition with more stitched garments to meet the ever growing demand.
MARIA.B. is a retail powerhouse with a dominance in Pret that is un-matched by any designer brand in the country, and this year we are going to get much bigger with multiple launches of Lawn, Linen and Silk Collections. MARIA.B. began as a retail brand with a vision of bringing high quality, trendy clothes to the modern woman and has been churning out 20-collections per year for the past 12 years.
As we continue to grow, we will bring you the best, year after year.
MARIA.B. Lawn 2013 is available exclusively at chambeili in May 2013 - 149 Bradford Road, Shipley, BD18 3TJ.

ABOUT SOZ KESIMI:
The inspiration for Soz Kesimi comes from the rich Turkish cultural and architectural heritage.
The mesmerizing Mosaic Lamps acted as a spur to the usage of sheeny fabric, translucent stones and the 3D tassels used in detailing of the pieces. Mukesh has been substantially added in addition to Reshum and other conventional materials for the same purpose. These lamps have also played a vital role in selection of the hues for the collection.
Dolmabahce palace has also been a major source of inspiration for the motifs on the pieces, which aim to reflect the grandeur and luxury of this splendid construction.
Moreover, the exquisite craftsmanship of Turkish monuments and the mosaic art itself inspired the intensive use of cutwork which will be seen in most of the pieces.
The culture, architecture and jewels have all been inculcated in the designs and mixed with Subcontinental ethos to give Soz Kesimi a festive look as well as make it wearable for the contemporary woman of this region.
