During my parents' annual visit, we planned an overnight getaway to Fredericksburg. On the way there, we made a side trip to the Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site and the adjacent Lyndon B. Johnson National Historic Park in Stonewall, Texas.
Our first stop was the Sauer Beckmann Living History Farm, which is located on the grounds of the LBJ State Park and Historic Site. (An informational placard located near the entrance provides more details on this historic site and its buildings.) Here, you can see a view of the parlor inside the farmstead's main house, which dates to 1915-1918.
