Yeah. We had to put the chains on for the first time ever. We have been through all sorts of mountains and snow in this car and have never had to chain up. Today we did. To get out of our driveway. And guess what? We still couldn't get back up the driveway, even with chains. Not even close.
And guess what else? My Grandma just called and canceled Christmas.
I used matte finish seed beads, imitation turquoise and coral beads and tiny twisted silver jump rings for spacers to make this eyeglasses chain

My iPhoto book finally arrived today!!!!
It was a long time coming. The first book I ordered went awry thanks to some sort of shipping issue (it happens from time to time when you live in northern BC), but it turned out for the best because I added a few more photos and changed my cover.
I don't have a mac, but lucky for me W. does, so I was able to use iPhoto to create this large softcover psuedo portfolio. I will definitely be making more of these books.

Gernot Sarasin was a passionate hunter. All the splendid specimens that he proudly displayed on his newest necklace, he had shot himself. Yet, and this remained a fact he was slightly embarrassed about, there was one last piece missing, to complete his chain of trophies. So Gernot Sarasin saw no other way but to use the Swiss cow’s rear –a terrible fight for life and death – as well.
Dinner was to be served in a few minutes. Gernot twirled his dashing moustache one last time. The ladies of the high-society would devotedly be hanging on every single word of his tales of all the fantastic prowls he had been on. Should one of them dare make a short-witted remark about the Swiss backside, he would take her along on his next prowl. His mother-in-law Lora – the charming lady, flanked by two polar bears– has very much enjoyed it herself at the time.
