Perchè ho fatto questo scatto?

Non lo so, ma forse per fermare i pensieri che mi passavano nella mente

mentre osservavo questa catena ... l'ombra sembrava essere più definita

della catena stessa che invece si confondeva con lo sfondo.

 

Pensavo ai legami, i legami familiari, i legami di amicizia.

 

Ci sono legami che pur non essendo immediatamente visibili sono forti come una vecchia catena che ancora una barca al molo ... ci sono legami che pur sembrando evidenti in realtà non lo sono perchè sono delle ombre e poi ci sono legami che sono come catene e via di questo passo con una serie infinita di combinazioni ....

 

... ecco forse perchè ho fatto questo scatto. Con questo scatto ho fermato in un'immagine tutta una serie infinita di pensieri e quando lo guardo il filo dei pensieri si dipana all'infinito in una serie infinita di possibilità ....

   

The way the light fell directly through the spaces in the chain onto the stay below drew me into taking this photo. I really like the abstract feeling this composition; The strong criss-crossing lines of the stay, spokes and chain give the image structure, whilst the depth of field creates an interplay between sharp outlines and soft bokeh. The blues and yellows in the corner add an some vibrant colour to an otherwise mute palette.
