Als Bundeshaus ( franz. Palais fédéral, ital. Palazzo federale; lat. gemäss Aufschrift am Fries

"Curia Confoederationis Helveticae" ) wird das Schweizer Regierungs- und Parlamentsge-

bäude in der Altstadt - Stadt Bern bezeichnet.

Das Gebäude wurde 1902 nach Plänen des Architekten H.ans W.ilhelm A.uer ( 1.8.4.7 – 1.9.0.6 )

unter ausschliesslicher Verwendung von Schweizer Materialien fertiggestellt.

.

Es besteht eigentlich aus drei Gebäudeteilen

**************************************************************************************************************

.

- Bundeshaus W.est ( ehemaliges B.undes - R.athshaus 1.8.5.2 – 1.8.5.7 )

- in der Mitte das markante Parlamentsgebäude ( fertiggestellt 1902 )

- Bundeshaus O.st ( 1.8.8.8 – 1.8.9.2 )

Das typische Merkmal des Bundeshauses ist die D.achkonstruktion des H.auptgebäudes :

Die drei K.uppeldächer.

Diese sind aus K.upfer angefertigt und waren dementsprechend früher einmal K.upferfarbig,

da das K.upfer aber mit der Zeit oxidierte, hat sich eine grünliche Patina gebildet die bis

heute geblieben ist.

20241121 – South Carolina Army National Guard CH-47F Chinook supports Highlander Battalion ROTC Cadets training by SC National Guard

A U.S. Army CH-47F Chinook heavy-lift, cargo helicopter assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 238th Aviation Regiment, 59th Aviation Troop Command, South Carolina Army National Guard provide tactical, air movement, support to the Highlander Cadets Battalion, Presbyterian College, U.S. Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program, during a field training event at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, Nov. 21. 2024. The Highlander Battalion is one of the oldest ROTC programs in the country with almost 100 years of history as a commissioning program for the U.S. Army. The battalion is part of the Military Science Department of the Presbyterian College campus, which is comprised of students from the Presbyterian College, Lander University, and Newberry College.
