I was also inspired by Shari's technique video this month! Thanks for looking!

I made this card for this month's challenge. I chose to go with the friendship theme and the kissing technique.

I first stamped the leaves on the Friend Definition stamp, lay my paper on it to get the leaf shaped text. Ink up the leaves again, stamped off the first impression on a scratch paper then stamped the second impression over the leaf shaped text to get a little more definition. Hope I am making sense here... =)

6 miles or so and lots of horrible engine/gearbox noises

So glad that I get to make a card for this card drive!! I based my card on the sketch. The text background and the green swirl pieces were from my stash. I only added the three ferns and the sentiment to finish the look. I also used a Spellbinders die to cut the green alcohol inked piece.

I just relized that this card is good for many categories! LOL! Dose the three ferns stamp count as "3 of a kind" ??? =)

Thanks for hosting this super fun event, Hero Arts! I am so glad to be able to give back a little. =)

I have been soooo inspired by Carole's cards and decided to play with my doily stamp based on this beautiful card!!!

This is the Valentine we sent my MIL - I think she'll really like these musical kiddos. CG129 Heart Frame was embossed in black, colored with a red Marvy marker and highlighted with some Ranger diamond stickles. I cut the inside of the heart out so it would be large enough to frame the F5468 Musical Walk image that was embossed and overstamped with CG125 Friend Definition. Sentiment is from CL311 Valentine Flourishes.

This is inspired by Virginia's Cookie/Card Series Week 2 and also for Thinking Inking. Virginia's pizzelles made me think of this Ornate Snowflake (HA digikit), so I started with that and it evolved into this.

I printed the snowflake onto acetate and layered it onto white cs distressed with various inks before sewing them together. The largest circle is glossy cs using the double resist technique: I first stamped the Friends definition with embossing ink, applied Broken China, then stamped the DB Flourish (partially inked with embossing ink), then applied Faded Jeans. I used a glitter pen to trace the snowflake to add a subtle shine. A closer look is in my photostream. Thanks for looking!

I had so Much Fun making this box card...I had to make another!!!

Love this New Hydrangea!!!

A card for my Mom - I'll send it to her on Mother's Day. After making it I realized that once she had a dress in those colors, maybe my card will remind her about it! ;-)

After viewing Shari's technique video last night I couldn'wait to try it out, and this is the result. I inked the Classic Fabric Design with Soft Pool shadow ink, and the friends definition with Latte chalk ink, kissed, and this is what happened! This is so neat, I will definately do more kissing in the future! LOL!

The thing I like most about this image is her black and white hi-top tennies! I used up some of the Hero Arts backgrounds I had left over from Heather's ATC exchange! TFL
