Space Shuttle Endeavour launching from Kennedy Space Center. STS-126 is was the final night launch for the space shuttle. This is only my 2nd time shooting one at night, and had no idea what to use settings-wise. I really should have listened to my friend and shot this in landscape.

Ill miss night launches. Beautiful site to behold.

The first nighttime launch I got to photo

I may never have known.

the thing that gets me is that truly stupid people will never know they're stupid. i shall never gain satisfaction and will die unfulfilled.

A brush fire burning in the Clermont/Groveland area of Florida. So far, 1,000 acres have burned.

Here's a news article about the fire.

My cardigan is my security blanket. Im not comfortable on how I look, so I am almost always wearing one.

If you live in central Florida, you probably would have heard about this. But this past weekend, and friend of mines brother was killed. Hes a really nice kid and super funny. They don't know how he was killed yet. But his mother & her boyfriend went over to where he was living with this other man, who was also killed, and found them both dead and badly decomposed. Its insanely sad that he & his family has to go through this.

If you want to read the story, you can read it here.

Orlando, Florida -- While a huge wildfire in Georgia created an unhealthy, yellow haze over Central Florida for most of the day, it made for a fine sunset.

Allison Walker from CFNEWS13....she is the hottest!!

More fireworks from EPCOT. (Kinda looks like a nebula, don't you think?)

Sadly, a few hours after these shots were taken, a Disney monorail driver was killed when his monorail train crashed into one ahead of it. ( I was already home by the time the crash occurred--so for those who know me, no need to worry. I wasn't involved.)

Working on another birth announcement project. This one for a fellow moderator over at Diabetes Daily. It is a little sports theme since they know they are having a boy.

I have three more to work on after that - one for someone at work (1st kid - boy - Sept) and another for a former roomate from college (3rd kid - 3rd girl - late June) and one for a former coworker (don't know yet but are calling it BOB for Baby on Board - late Sept./early Oct). You'd think it is something in the water.

Orlando, FL -- The moon. taken just before the sunset in the previous photo and tinted red by the smoke.
