The Cessna 170 is a light, single-engine taildragger aircraft introduced in 1948, known for its versatility and rugged design. It became popular for bush flying, training, and general aviation, eventually leading to the development of the tricycle-gear Cessna 172, one of the world’s most produced aircraft.
