El tren de cereal Canfranc-Zaragoza-Martorell pasa subiendo la rampa de Navasa con la 333-368. Fue curioso porqué en cola llevaba ese vagón verde que debería estar en Canfranc, pero que tampoco estaba muy deteriorado...

Cereal Canfranc – BCN Can Tunis a su paso por la estación de Santa María y La Peña con la 333.314 alquilada a renfe al frente de la composición.
Il est 11h45, la cloche de l'église au clocher Comtois typique vient de donner l'heure, la sonnerie de l'école primaire retentit également et les cris des enfants résonnent dans le village tandis que le soleil réapparait miraculeusement 40 secondes avant le passage du train Dijon - Vallorbe..
Il s'agit de l'unique fret (céréalier) empruntant cet itinéraire difficile de la "Bosse" qui requiert d'ailleurs la présence d'une locomotive de pousse (non visible sur la photo). Il passe ici à Labergement-Ste-Marie près du lac St Point, aux origines de la rivière qui a donné son nom au département du Doubs.. La frontière Suisse n'est plus qu'à quelques kilomètres !

La lanzadera de cereal de Continental Rail es de los trenes más interesantes que tenemos actualmente circulando por Barcelona, por sus tracciones tan distintas que suele llevar.
El pasado viernes fui a verlo a Castellbisbal, y en esa ocasión me vino con tracción normal, la 335.029, y circulando puntual como un clavo. Saludos para el maquinista!

La llançadora de cereal de Continental Rail és dels trens més interessants que tenim actualment per Barcelona, per les seves traccions tan variades que sol portar.
El passat divendres vaig anar a veure'l a Castellbisbal, i en aquesta ocasió em va venir amb una locomotora normal, la 335.029, i circulant puntual com un clau. Salutacions pel maquinista!
These cereal fields are located in Alykos area between Tseri and Analiontas in Nicosia, Cyprus. The local name of the cone-shaped hill is “Vouni tis Rkas” (Granny's hill). According to folklore, the hill was originally a wheat pile which belonged to an old stingy woman. Jesus was passing from the area and asked for some wheat, but the woman refused and the wheat was transformed into soil; on a clear day one can see the inverted sieve of the woman at the hilltop.
Now, the scientific description: “Distinctive sedimentary geomorphology of Nicosia Formation. These hills are formed as their upper part consist of hard rock (usually sandstone or conglomerate) and the sides of soft marl rocks.” [Constantinou and Panagides (2013) Cyprus and Geology: Science, Environment, Culture].
Some technical info for those interested: this is a single RAW shot taken with Nikon D750 and Nikon 14-24 mm f/2.8 @ 14.0 mm and ƒ/8 with shutter speed 1/250s and ISO 100. Post processing first in LR for some basic adjustments and then to PS for enhancement and sharpening using Nik tools.

A cantón de un TECO a Zaragoza-Corbera Alta, apareció inesperadamente la 335.018 de Continental Rail con la lanzadera del cereal entre Barcelona y Martorell, entre silbatos, con un buen retraso (su hora prevista es al amanecer). Justo detrás vendría un siderúrgico a Sagunt y luego el papelero a El Espartal con la 335.020 y la 253.102 remolcada. Saludos para el maquinista!
