Parece que se consolida este nuevo servicio, después de unos años de ausencia, por fin se ven trenes cerealeros con vagones que no son de Renfe, estaba acostumbrado a las tolvas verdes TT.
Interesante agosto charro, en vez de reducirse los servicios, parece que han aumentado: regreso de los Bios, trenes de contenedores especiales y algunas sorpresas.
Que no decaiga.

#171/365 Breakfast Cereal macro style! Nothing but the healthy stuff here! This was an idea I had..not sure if it all worked out. The coco puff looks like a swedish meatball. But you know you all loved these as a kid! I'm sure there are plenty I have lefted out. Hopefully this makes you want to eat a bowl of yummy sugar...I mean cereal.

Hace semanas que estoy guardando esta imagen para la ocasión, y creo que ya es hora de subirla. A partir de esta semana el famoso cereal de Canfranc ha dejado de subir hasta la estación pirenaica por una mala temporada de grano en la zona de Pau (Francia).
Ahora, el poco cereal que se cosecha es enviado en barco hasta el Port de Tarragona, donde lo recoge una 319 de Conti con las mismas tolvas que antes y se lo lleva a Martorell con un tren lanzadera esporádico. Esperemos que la situación mejore y podamos volver a ver el tren de forma diaria.
En la imagen, la 333.380 sale del túnel de Castellbisbal con unas tolvas vacías detrás de camino a Can Tunis y posteriormente a Canfranc.

La 333-380, perteneciente a Continental Rail, entra en Tardienta remolcando el cereal con destino Martorell.
Linnets are a quintessential farmland bird. The name Linnet (Linaria cannabina) comes from a former crop Flax (Linum), as does the generic name Linaria. The specific name cannabina is also named after the former arable crop from which hemp fibres were taken for rope making. But changes to agriculture have resulted in a massive decline since the late 1960s. Changes affecting Li9nnets include loss of hedgerows, increased use of herbicides and pesticides plus the switch to autumn-sown cereals which deprives Linnet from its winter habitat of stubble fields. There is something quite photogenic about cereal fields so I was pleased to capture this brightly-plumaged male Linnet sat amid the (Bearded) Wheat.
