1:12 scale miniatures charms on a miniature table with 2 miniature chairs.
Over the past 4 years I collected lots of miniature items, like dishes and furnitures, (here you can see only some of them) but I can't find the time to organize them in the 'Mini Bakery & Pastry Shop' that I built for my blythe.
But look! I made her some meals - Breakfast, Cheese & Wine, Breads, etc in 1:12 scale.

The Medina of Essaouira, formerly named Mogador (name originating from the Phoenician word Migdol meaning a « small fortress »), is an outstanding example of a fortified town of the mid-eighteenth century, surrounded by a wall influenced by the Vauban model.
Constructed according to the principles of contemporary European military architecture, in a North African context, in perfect harmony with the precepts of Arabo-Muslim architecture and town-planning, it has played a major role over the centuries as an international trading seaport, linking Morocco and sub-Saharan Africa with Europe and the rest of the world.
The town is also an example of a multicultural centre as proven by the coexistence, since its foundation, of diverse ethnic groups, such as the Amazighs, Arabs, Africans, and Europeans as well as multiconfessional (Muslim, Christian and Jewish).
Indissociable from the Medina, the Mogador archipelago comprises a large number of cultural and natural sites of Outstanding Universal Value.
Its relatively late foundation in comparison to other medinas of North Africa was the work of the Alaouite Sultan Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdallah (1757-1790) who wished to make this small Atlantic town a royal port and chief Moroccan commercial centre open to the outside world.
Known for a long time as the Port of Timbuktu, Essaouira became one of the major Atlantic commercial centres between Africa and Europe at the end of the 18th century and during the 19th century.

On a ceramic plate with copper color wheat shafts on a brown border. Someone didn't want it so they took it to Kent Recycle Center in Carmel, New York and it can be yours free!
As it is in King James version of the bible, in the Gospel of Matthew 6:9-13. This is on a ceramic plate with a picture of Jesus Christ. Someone didn't want it so they took it to Kent Recycle Center in Carmel, New York and it can be yours free!

This is my very favorite creation of the past 6 months I would say! A wolf howling away in the forest, surrounded by bits of light, fire, and eyes.....
It is 12" X 12"
This is in the grounds of the site of the Archaeologicial Museums which comprises this Tiled Pavilion, the Ancient Orient and the more traditional archaeology building.
Hundred Oaks Castle at one time was the #1 tourist destination in Winchester and Franklin County, TN. Originally a home of TN Governor Albert Marks, his son Arthur built upon the plantation home to convert it into a castle in 1889.
My dad was the conductor of a Renaissance Consort and performed in this castle in the 1980's.
In 1990, the Castle underwent extensive fire damage and was closed to the public for a long time.
Today, the castle is owned by the Kent Bramlett foundation. Kent Bramlett graduated from the same high school I went and died in a car wreck in the early 90s. His family established this foundation and is in the process of renovating this castle.
The ceramic plate was seen at Falls Mill, also in Franklin County.

This is a great decorative plate to place candles, nicknacks, or even change! It's a great housewarming or wedding gift for the person or couple who has everything. It is uniquely designed from red earthenware clay with a beautifully whimsical stamped pattern. The bottom has rounded feet that are felt covered to help prevent scratched surfaces.
As with all my creations, this is a handmade, signed, one-of-a-kind plate that can be copied, but not duplicated. Each piece is lovingly hand formed, as well as hand glazed with three to six coats to achieve the best color enhancement.
*FOR DECORATION ONLY - NOT FOOD SAFE!

The French potter Bernard Palissy (1510-1589) revolutionised ceramics with his development of coloured glazes and items cast from real animals and plants. Paris, France 1869 by Geoge Pull.
"I love girlie things"! That's the title of this plate. Bags and shoes, perfume, jewelry, everything a girlie girl loves, especially shopping!
The archaeological museums section on the Ancient Orient contains a variety of artefacts including stone friezes of Babylonians, and mosaics which lined the entry area to the Ishtar Gate of Babylon.
