A scarce ceramic mug depicting a tongue-in-cheek story of how the Liver Bird (emblem of Liverpool City) came to be on the Liverpool Football Club logo. The story is told over four panels and the logo depicted was in use with the club from 1987 until 1992.

The four panels are:

1 "Our young hero" the Liver Bird, hatches from a soccer ball egg in some faraway tropical land. As the Liver Bird hatches from the egg he catches a falling sprig of seaweed,

2) Holding the sprig of seaweed in his beak, he flies off in search of a new home and a sign pointing towards Liverpool.

3) Arrives over Anfield Stadium and thinks "This is the place for me!!"

4) Home Sweet Home - the Liver Bird settles down into the Liverpool FC logo and gives a wink.

This YORKIE - IT'S NOT FOR GIRLS mug was issued for Nestlé around 2002 and includes the tongue-in-cheek tagline "It's not for girls" used for Nestlé's multimedia advertising campaign from 2002. Their multimedia promotional campaign aimed to carry on the "manly" appeal of their Yorkie chocolate bar.

The campaign was controversal but Nestlé persevered with their 'not for girl's' campaign until it was ended in 2011. But its very controversy attracted much media attention and ensured the continued success of Yorkie bar sales throughout those nine years and more.
