Landesgartenschau Beelitz 2022

Sabine Breithor:

Sabine Breithor:

"My work at the State Garden Show 2022 in Beelitz has the motto: We are all in the same boat.

As a reminder, my work makes people aware that, on a small and large scale, every community can only solve its upcoming tasks together and that every individual, as part of the human family, is called upon to take responsibility for the common good when dealing with global challenges. This is the only way for the boat we are all in to reach its destination safely, otherwise it is in danger of sinking."

Sabine Breithor came to ceramics and plastics as an autodidact and has been living and working with her own workshop gallery in Langerwisch near Potsdam since 2000.

The Leaning Tower in Tbilisi (Georgia) is one of the city’s most unusual buildings. It is a bizarre structure, with a tower on the perpetual brink of falling down, and only a steel beam holds the tower in place.

The kiln in Onta was built in the mid-Edo period. Pottery making was started by 10 families, and has continued non-stop during that time for 300 years using the original kiln. Along with its surrounding nature, this extremely precious village is one in which you must walk slowly to appreciate.
